About Me

     My name is Kendra Bush, and I am a Business Administration Marketing major at Chico State University. I am currently taking MADT 307 - Technology and Communication to further my understanding of the steady growth of technology in relation to the changing ways of communication. I chose to major in Business Marketing for a few reasons. I have always loved being creative and artsy, and more recently, I have found an outlet for this in graphic design. However, I have also always loved problem-solving and taking on challenges. I wanted to be able to combine each of these aspects for a future job, and Business Marketing is exactly that.

    I also wanted more experience in the world of business, so I decided to put my love for design and creativity to use and began my own small business, Kennie's Kreations Co. Services I offer include custom greeting cards, custom chalkboard art, and small retail signage. Starting a small business allowed me to share my creative side with others and gain real-world experience in running a business.

    Outside of academics and my small business, I have many interests and hobbies. I enjoy working out, hiking, kayaking, playing piano, singing, and most of all, hanging out with my family. Our family time often consists of watching movies, cooking, and working on projects around the house. However, our favorite thing to do as a family is go on vacation. We have visited many different places throughout our travels, but our favorite place that we frequently return to is Kauai. It is our home away from home, and it never disappoints. The one downside to travelling is having to leave our furry friends behind. I have two cats, Benjamin Button and Richard Parker, and two dogs, Woody and Lola, as well as many goats and chickens. We always look forward to coming home and seeing all of our pets after a long stay away.

    Through this blog, I am looking forward to exploring how creativity, technology, and communication intersect in the business world.
